However, there are now fair trade sports balls that are made by workers in cooperatives who have been paid a fair living wage, have access to clean drinking water & facilities with proper ventilation, and who are NOT child labourers.
One of the key development issues of this century is access to clean, safe water. Water - although a renewable resource - is increasingly threatened by industry, overuse, and privatization. Access to clean water for drinking, household use and agriculture is a critical development issue.
